Oral Health & Fluoride

Fluoride is a naturally occurring mineral found in soil, water, and certain foods. It strengthens teeth by helping rebuild weakened enamel—a process called remineralization.

When fluoride is present on the tooth surface, it makes enamel more resistant to decay-causing acids from bacteria and sugars.
