Breakout Committees

Public Awareness & Prevention
The goal of the Public Awareness and Prevention Committee is to increase the public's knowledge about preventive oral health measures. Some of the ways this is accomplished is through developing and disseminating targeted messaging, creating educational materials and resources, and collaborating with community partners.

Public Access to Care
The goal of the Public Access to Care Committee involves raising awareness about existing programs, streamlining enrollment processes, and collaborating with program providers to make accessing services easier.

Policy & Legislation
The goal of the Policy and Legislation Committee is to support policies that promote oral health, monitor existing legislation, and build strong relationships with stakeholders.

Fluoride
The Fluoride Committee contributes to reducing tooth decay rates in the community by educating the public about safe and effective uses of fluoride while promoting community water fluoridation.

Data Collection
The goal of the Data Collection Committee is to establish a uniform system for collection data on key oral health indicators. The Data Collection Committee plays a vital role in driving the oral health coalition's mission to achieve optimal oral health for the entire community.
